Director of the Youth Dance Theater / Artistic Co-Director

Ann has been active in the KC dance scene as a teacher, choreographer, and performer for over 20 years. She received a BFA from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance. While there her choreography was featured in performances by the Opera department, the UMKC Kids Club, and for a collaboration with art and music composition majors. She auditioned for City in Motion in 2004 and has been involved with the organization ever since! In 2016 Ann became a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and currently works for the concierge therapy group "Ellis for You". She is also an instructor with "Vitality in Motion", bringing dance and ballet inspired exercise to area senior living facilities, and is a member of the aerial performing group "Voler: Thieves of Flight". Ann is thrilled to be back with City in Motion again not only as a dancer and choreographer but now as Co-Artistic Director of the company with her colleague Bobbi Foudree, and as director of the Youth Dance Theater.
